The Founder
Rapha, Founder &
Finance Teacher
Raphael grew up in Canada and studied finance and accounting at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He spent summer internships at the United Nations and a Fortune 500 company. Upon graduating in 2020, he worked for two years as a lecturer at the University of Western Ontario, teaching Accounting and Finance. Before starting Zenda, Raphael traveled throughout South America, primarily living in Mexico City and Buenos Aires, before settling down in Medellín. Raphael is passionate about all things learning, whether it’s new phrases in Spanish, how to prepare better coffee, or going to new places. Curiosity is always at the helm of most decisions.
The Teachers
Ana, Spanish Teacher
Ana grew up in Palmar de Varela, a town near Barranquilla. She studied International Relations, specializing in Human Rights. She worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and learned a lot about migration, social work and cultural diversity. Ana loves carnavales, dancing, cooking, and painting. She is currently attending aerial and yoga classes.
Susana, Spanish Teacher
Susana grew up in La Ceja, Antioquia, and later settled in Medellín, where she studied photography, fashion design, English, and French. As a production assistant, she has worked on diverse national and international fashion shows and events. Susana is passionate about discovering new cultures and connecting with people through empathetic conversations!
